10 Last Call: YOU nothing ME

YOU nothing ME

An Aside:  The idea for this (structurally) came from an odd sequence of thoughts that I will spare you.  I had to insert this poem as an image, because I was not sure how on earth (even with my knowledge of html) I was going to get this to appear correctly.  Anyway...

The above poem contains fourteen visual word puzzles.  Test yourself first; see if you can read it.  If not, I have provided the audio version of the poem as well.

This is my offerings for this week's dVerse Poets Pub OpenLinkNight. If you get a chance, check out all of the talented poets who have stepped up into the spotlight.

  1. Wow... first of all fabulous way of presenting this, it just adds to its overall impact.
    Great poem :)

  2. ha this was wicked fun...i had them all but that last one...and things do happen but love can over come it as well...smiles.

  3. I did listen to the recording (which I very much enjoyed) after I had solved all but the last one my ii over future...couldn't come up with "are on" though I had the full impact by then. Very clever. A true CONCRETE poem..would have been much admired at the turn of the 20th century even more than now. Possible painted on canvas and put in a museum. No other way to do this than a jpg...print would never do! Excellent!

  4. Wow! I'm very impressed. You packaged a wonderful poem so cleverly.

  5. very cool on playing with the structure...and enjoyed the recording as well

  6. This is fabulous....I love your presentation, I could get most of them, but really enjoyed hearing you read it as well.

  7. At first my computer brought up the audio version before the visual version, so I didn't know to do the puzzles first. Having heard the audio, though, made the visual more fun because it was easier to figure out. Things like many things between you and me.

  8. I'm amazed when people envision and create a piece like this. Got stumped a couple of times, but finally got it! Dang creative!
